44 Nightclub is looking for an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead our team and help elevate our guest experience to the next level. This is a key leadership role for someone who knows the nightclub world inside and out and thrives in a fast-paced, late-night environment.

About the Role

As Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the nightclub, including:

  • Overseeing nightly operations and ensuring a smooth, safe, and memorable guest experience
  • Leading, training, and scheduling staff (bartenders, servers, hosts, security, support staff)
  • Managing budgets, labour costs, inventory, and ordering
  • Working closely with ownership on strategy, promotions, and events
  • Ensuring compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and alcohol service regulations
  • Handling escalated guest issues and maintaining a strong presence on the floor
  • Building and maintaining relationships with VIP clients, promoters, and partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in nightlife/hospitality
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership/management role in a nightclub or lounge (required)
  • Proven experience managing teams in a high-volume, late-night environment
  • Strong understanding of nightclub operations (bar, bottle service, guest list/VIP, security, DJs/entertainment)
  • Excellent people management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and cost control
