Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, computer expertise, and proven experience in supervising office operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. A background in insurance and possession of an LLQP license is preferred, as this role may involve supporting insurance-related processes in addition to administrative tasks.
This position is critical for ensuring smooth office operations, supporting multiple departments (including finance, and insurance services), and providing exceptional support to clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and foster a productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and oversee clerical tasks to ensure efficient document management.
- Provide advanced administrative support using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reports, presentations, and data management.
- Support insurance-related operations; candidates with an LLQP license may assist with client policy administration.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare professional correspondence and documentation.
- Foster effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong computer expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and clerical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
- Effective in follow-ups to ensure tasks and communications are completed on time.
- Insurance background preferred; LLQP license is an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
