This role may be based out of our Kitchener, London, Mississauga, Guelph, Toronto or Burlington offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate municipal water and wastewater projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with technical experts in our multidisciplinary Water group, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural professionals.
  • Coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, quality control, and risk assessments to meet client expectations.
  • Contribute to and review engineering studies, environmental assessments, technical reports, calculations, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Support the pursuit of new projects by assisting with technical scopes, workplans, schedules, and task-level budgeting.
  • Engage with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, utility agencies, and contractors to ensure effective project execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or related field. Advanced degrees are considered an asset.
  • Eligible to become a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), Certified Technician (C.Tech) in Ontario, or an equivalent related professional designation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater projects, with a focus on project coordination or management in Ontario (especially Kitchener, GTA, or Southwestern Ontario).
  • Strong technical understanding of water/wastewater treatment design and processes, including hydraulics and unit operations.
  • Experience in coordinating small to mid-sized engineering projects in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective. You think you can add value, but don't meet all the job requirements? We invite you to apply, because everyone has something unique to offer.
