Duties

  • Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
  • Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and resource allocation to meet operational goals
  • Lead recruiting efforts, conduct interviews, and onboard new team members with a focus on employee orientation and development
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and overseeing stock control to prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Oversee customer service interactions, ensuring positive experiences and resolving issues promptly
  • Implement merchandising strategies and pricing adjustments to maximize sales performance
  • Conduct training sessions on safety protocols, technical skills, POS systems, and customer engagement techniques
  • Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to staff management
  • Monitor store metrics such as retail math, sales management, and budgeting to optimize profitability
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication, leadership, and motivation

Experience

  • Proven management experience in retail or workshop environments with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong background in inventory management, purchasing, and stock control systems
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
  • Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative functions
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
  • Prior assistant manager or supervisory roles within retail or service industries preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, pricing strategies, and store merchandising practices
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train and develop team members for success
  • Effective communication skills coupled with phone etiquette for engaging customers and staff alike
