JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager - Commercial Analytics & Business Intelligence plays a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for leading the design, optimization, and enhancement of dashboards, data models, and reporting tools with a strong focus on Power BI dashboarding and improving Salesforce analytics for sales representatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Model and Report Maintenance:
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI and Tableau to ensure accuracy and business relevance.
- Oversee the improvement of Salesforce dashboards to enhance visibility for sales representatives and leadership teams ensuring key KPIs, performance metrics, and trends are easily trackable.
- Ensure smooth data flow and integration across CRM, ERP, financial, and sales systems to maintain consistent and reliable reporting.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Design, implement, and manage high-impact dashboards and visual reports in Power BI, Salesforce, and Tableau that enable effective business decisions and performance tracking.
- Develop visualizations that clearly communicate commercial insights such as revenue trends, sales performance, and customer analytics.
- Ensure dashboards are tailored to meet the needs of various departments, including Finance, Sales, and Operations.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Partner closely with the Finance team to support financial reporting, budgeting, and KPI analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to monitor commercial performance, identify trends, and provide insights that drive field effectiveness and sales growth.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align analytics initiatives with business objectives and commercial strategy.
Continuous Improvement and Learning:
- Stay current with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in analytics and data visualization.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and automation of dashboards and reporting workflows.
- Explore innovative approaches to visual storytelling and commercial data reporting, with a focus on optimizing Salesforce and Power BI capabilities.
Support Decision-Making:
- Provide data-driven insights, trends, and recommendations that support leadership in strategic and operational decisions.
- Conduct routine analysis and KPI tracking to highlight performance patterns and opportunities for improvement across commercial functions.
- Ensure analytical outputs are actionable, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Power BI, Tableau & Salesforce Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in creating and maintaining dashboards and data models in Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong experience enhancing Salesforce dashboards and analytics, including creating actionable visualizations for sales representatives and leadership.
- Ability to ensure seamless data flow and integration between Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau and other business systems.
DAX and Data Modeling:
- Strong command of DAX and Power BI data modeling principles, including measures, relationships, and performance optimization.
- Ability to design scalable and efficient data structures that support robust commercial analytics.
Visualization and Design:
- Strong design sense and understanding of effective data visualization principles.
- Skilled at creating user-friendly dashboards that quickly convey key business insights and KPIs.
Analytical Skills:
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
- Experience with trend analysis, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Ability to convey analytical findings in a clear and business-oriented manner.
Problem-Solving and Leadership:
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to lead complex analytical projects from concept to execution.
- Experience managing or mentoring analytical teams and collaborating across functions.
Willingness to Learn:
- Proactive in exploring emerging analytics tools and methods to continuously enhance data-driven decision-making.
