Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or retail are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in person or via phone
  • Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
  • Manage cashier responsibilities including processing payments, and issuing receipts
  • Upsell products and services through effective communication and product demos
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stock levels
  • Provide product information and technical sales support when needed
  • Conduct basic math calculations for transactions and discounts
  • Ensure a clean, organized checkout area at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as required
  • Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
  • Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to increase sales
  • Organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
  • Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing transactions and stock levels

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.35-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
