Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our amazing kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a grill and sautée cook, you will be fully involved in the busiest times of lunch and dinner service. this position has opportunity for more responsibility over time and performance assessment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • lead the charge in line checks, pars, and quality checks
  • Collaborate with the sous chef to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

  • hard working, clean, great attitude
  • experience in a busy restaurant working grill, sautée or both.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • well rounded technique
  • A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
