Duties

  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health regulations while handling food products.
  • Support the cooking staff during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is required.
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
