The Maintenance Planner, Coordinator is accountable for day-to-day detailed maintenance inspection, planning, repair/replacement of buildings and building systems equipment fleets (HVAC, Security, Roofing, Monitoring, Fire Detection, and Fire Suppression etc.), scheduling and cost estimating to maximize mechanical availability in a safe cost-effective manner. This position also provides support for projects and major maintenance events at facilities through planning techniques to effectively control maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains critical building equipment and systems inventory that require lifecycle maintenance management.
- Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment that ensures reliability and availability through scheduled inspection programs, service, maintenance and timely lifecycle replacement.
- Plans, estimates cost and coordinates maintenance work and equipment replacements.
- Manages performance and dispatch of continuous service contractors providing mechanical, electrical and other building system service.
- Prepares work and project plans and tracks progress and cost against plan and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical trade/technologist background.
- 5 years' experience in a maintenance position such as planner, coordinator and/or supervisor.
- Valid driver license.
