Acuren is currently seeking an NDT Level 2+ Technician with PCN PAUT certification to support long-term maintenance work at Imperial Oil Strathcona this fall. As an NDT Technician at Acuren, you will play a key role in supporting our clients' operations. Position Information

  • Open to Level 2 or Level 2+ Technicians with PCN PAUT (mandatory).
  • Additional methods such as UT, PT, and MT are considered assets.

Project Information

  • Position Type: Long-term maintenance
  • Site: Imperial Oil Strathcona – Edmonton, AB
  • Local Candidates Only: Accommodations are not provided
  • Start Date: September 15, 2025
  • Rotation: Monday to Friday
  • Shift: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods.
  • Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
  • Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients.

Requirements

  • PCN PAUT certification (mandatory)
  • CGSB Level 2 certification
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain positive client relationships
  • Exceptional safety awareness and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management
  • Self-motivated, capable of working at a high technical and performance level
  • Valid driver's license
  • IRATA training, or willingness to obtain, considered an asset
