Childcare Educator Level 2

Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 12 months to 6 years. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young children while working in a collaborative and innovative setting.

Duties

  • Design, develop, and implement play-based programs that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 12 months to 6 years.

  • Deliver engaging activities, stories, and games that promote learning and development in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Support and mentor junior educators to promote professional growth and teamwork.

  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing constructive feedback to families and colleagues.

  • Participate in team meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and administrative documentation related to childcare activities.

  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a sense of community and belonging.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a childcare setting with a strong background in early childhood education.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement engaging programs that cater to diverse learner needs.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate children and colleagues.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in program planning and documentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality care and education.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ECE Level 2 certification or equivalent.

  • Experience working with children aged 12 months to 6

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour
