Hours of Work: 10 hours a day
Scope of Work: To perform MT,VT,UT,PT and other responsibilities of a NDT Technician
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in NDT inspection
- Interpretation of relevant industry codes, standards, and procedures
- Excellent report writing and review skills
- Ability to adapt to a high pressure and high production environment while
- managing competing priorities with minimal supervision
- Commitment to quality inspection and reporting
- Excellent customer service focus with the ability to quickly build strong working relationships with clients and colleague
- Valid CGSB UT1 ticket and other additional CGSB tickets (i.e. MT/PT/UT) or API certifications are a definite asset.
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work in town, out of town, nights and overtime would be an asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the NDT field

- H2S Alive
- Other safety tickets will be instructed while onboarding
- Complete project related procedures and checklists duties
- Troubleshoot any tool related issues on-site
- Operate hand/power tools, forklift, hoist and crane as required
- Responsible to maintain a safe and professional work atmosphere
- Perform other duties as assigned and work in a field environment that includes: hot, wet and cold climate conditions.
- Provide service and client support
Physical Requirements:
• Pre-employment physical test required (physical, hearing, drug & alcohol)
• Ability to work in a field environment and follow best practices according to company policy & standards
• Ability to work long hours throughout the duration of the project
• Ability to routinely lift/carry heavy materials weighing 50 lbs & up
Skills and Qualifications:
• Completion of CGSB certification in Magnetic Testing (MT-2), Penetrant Testing (PT-2) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT-1)
• Familiarity with and understanding of: Performing Phased Array testing Working in a physically demanding environment
• Performing inspections and interpreting results.
