Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial tasks, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of commercial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed
  • Operate facilities maintenance equipment to ensure optimal functioning of cleaning systems
  • Use custodial supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
  • Conduct heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning or maintenance activities
  • Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning needs or issues
  • Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks to support overall building upkeep
  • Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

  • Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and facilities maintenance is a plus
  • Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
  • Customer service orientation is desirable for roles involving client interaction
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
