Overview

We are looking for a dependable Part-Time Area Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations at multiple sites. This role requires strong leadership, reliable transportation, and hands on floor care experience, including machine use and strip-and-wax services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support janitorial staff at assigned locations
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and client satisfaction
  • Train employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation
  • Operate and teach staff how to use auto-scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and other floor-care machines
  • Perform and oversee floor stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing
  • Assist with hands-on cleaning when necessary
  • Communicate with clients regarding service needs or concerns
  • Monitor supplies and report needs to management

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning supervision preferred
  • Strong knowledge of floor care, including strip-and-wax and machine operation
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
