Job Overview

Glitter and Gold Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner (Casual Position) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a variety of residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct light facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients regarding cleanliness.
  • Execute commercial cleaning duties in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Lift and transport heavy objects and cleaning supplies safely, using proper techniques to avoid injury.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Valid G Class driver's licence (driving is a must).
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional cleaning experience. Applicants with less than 2 years of experience will not be contacted.
  • Ownership of a safe, reliable vehicle (you will be expected to carry large amounts of cleaning supplies and travel to multiple job locations across the city).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial/Residential cleaning practices and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
