We are seeking a dynamic, responsible, and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. Position Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety while managing and motivating a team. This position requires strong leadership, hands-on operational experience, excellent communication skills, and a disciplined approach to managing people and processes.
Only experienced and qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Workflow
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Monitor workflow, set priorities, and adjust operations to meet targets
- Ensure all work meets quality and productivity standards
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to maintain performance and safety standards
- Schedule shifts, manage timekeeping, and ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach, including participating in physical warehouse tasks as required
- Conduct hiring, performance management, and terminations as needed
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Work with the purchasing team to maintain stock levels and resolve discrepancies promptly
Systems & Safety
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to manage inventory and order processing
- Experience with Manhattan Scale WMS is a strong asset (training provided if needed)
- Enforce health and safety policies, conduct inspections, and maintain a clean and organized environment
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum college diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on warehouse supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of leading teams, hiring, and performance management
- Excellent communication skills, clear, confident, and able to lead diverse teams effectively
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with WMS; Manhattan Scale WMS experience is an asset
- Physically fit and able to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting to 65 lbs
- High level of responsibility, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work weekends and adjust to operational needs
