Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service areas before and after meal service.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process customer transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak service times.
  • Help restock supplies as needed throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning food items.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Willingness to assist others and help maintain a supportive work atmosphere.
