Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods
  • Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, providing excellent guest services
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines diligently
  • Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
  • Experience with food industry standards including serving, food safety, and food handling practices
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
