The Role: Consultant. Coach. Culture Architect.

You'll act as a trusted Human Resources Business Partner for multiple clients, supporting their leaders with hands-on guidance and strategic HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

• Be the go-to HR expert for a portfolio of clients: offering high-touch, high-trust support in areas like employee relations, policies, benefits & compensation, org design, OH&S, performance, talent acquisition and engagement.
• Deliver calm, confident coaching to executives and managers navigating people challenges.
• Conduct investigations, guide performance management, and support terminations with care and professionalism.
• Lead HR projects: think audits, engagement surveys, onboarding design, compensation reviews, and more.
• Contribute to client workshops, L&D sessions, and internal best practices.
• Spot opportunities for client growth — and help us expand the impact we can deliver.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in progressive HR roles, with at least 5 years as a true HR Manager, HR Business Partner or consultant.
• Experience managing complex, multi-jurisdictional HR issues across Canadian provinces.
• Confidence in all areas of HR: from writing clean policies to navigating tough conversations with empathy and clarity.
• Top-notch communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple clients and priorities with grace.
• Preference for those in Calgary for in-person work at client offices (~50%).
• Occasional travel within Canada (~10% - 25%)
• Availability for 10–20 hours/week, with strong overlap during core business hours:
• Mon–Thurs: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm MT
• Fri: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm MT

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
