Amanda & Amber Business Consulting is a boutique Human Resources firm supporting small & medium sized organizations across most of Canada. We are a women-founded team, with a strong emphasis on work-life harmony, community involvement & client-centered engagement. We are looking for a casual/part-time intermediate HR consultant to join our growing team. This role is primarily remote, with the potential for some in-person meetings or projects.

**The Role**:

- Supporting clients as a fractional HRBP (HR Business Partner) or HR generalist on day-to-day HR needs
- Supporting clients on project-based asks
- Working alongside leaders to positively impact the employee or volunteer experience
- Providing coaching, leadership & support to all levels of management & executives on the full spectrum of HR services such as employee relations, policies, performance, training, career development, engagement, onboarding, recruitment & compensation
- Supporting on involuntary terminations & restructuring work
- Supporting on the establishment, monitoring & reporting of KPIs
- Supporting on culture audit work including engagement surveys & action planning based on results
- Investigating HR issues from reporting to resolution, while upholding the highest level of integrity & confidentiality
- Providing the highest level of customer service; regularly soliciting feedback from clients to ensure expectations are being exceeded
- Supporting on workshops, trainings & webinars
- Actively soliciting business from new & existing clients
- While this role is remote, there may be some projects or meetings with an in-person component
- This role is a part-time/casual opportunity. We anticipate having an average of 10-20 hours per week available with the opportunity to increase to full-time in the future if desired.

**Requirements**:

- CPHR an asset
- Degree or certificate in HR an asset
- At least 7 years of experience in HR as a senior generalist, advisor or HRBP
- Experience with investigations; certification in investigations is an asset
- Excellent communication, critical thinking & influencing skills to promote innovative approaches with clients that will enrich the employee & volunteer experience
- Ability to develop trust, credibility & strong relationships with clients
- Excellent time management & project management skills; ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of relevant legal practices, employment legislation & regulations, and best practices & concepts related to HR
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with an ability to analyze data & determine root causes of complex issues to arrive at sound business & HR decisions
- Must have at least 15 hours of availability per week, and at least 75% of those need to be during our regular office hours (Monday - Thursday 830am-430pm, Friday 830am-1230pm, MT)

- **Pay Range**: The pay range for this role is $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience.
