Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire new accounts using a strategic approach to increase sales revenue and to drive growth with prospects within a specific target of customers looking for 3PL Warehousing and Transportation services.
- Achieve growth goals assigned through cold calling, customer meetings and customer presentations.
- Maintain administrative processes on a weekly basis, include but not limited to: various reports, zoho/CRM updates
- Prepares account plans for all existing significant accounts, with QBR activity and reporting.
- Responsible for servicing accounts, information management, monthly reporting, training, and meeting set targets.
- Responsible for revenue attainment, customer satisfaction and revenue retention.
- Consult with new customers after sales or signed contracts to resolve problems and/or ongoing support and customer service.
- Complete the new customer onboarding program and checklist detailing both customer and operational requirements for all new key accounts or significant expansion within existing accounts.
- Knowledgeable about all services and benefits Remco can provide and educating customers. Provide clients with presentations (i.e. PowerPoint) on the benefits and uses of our services.
- Understanding the operations side of the business to ensure there is a good match with the customer's needs and the services we provide.
- Communicate with operations management on a regular basis.
- Periodically assist in training and working with account supervisors/managers managing current customers.
Minimum requirements
- University degree or equivalent college diploma in Logistics.
- Successful sales experience in 3PL Brokerage is required.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Energetic, self-starter, and pleasant to talk too.
- Excellent polite and persuasive communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - with an emphasis on grammar and formatting for customer communication.
- Passionate, hard worker and well organized professional with power to prioritize and multitask.
- Flexible to work in non-business hours.
- Able to operate in different work conditions such as on-site, off site.
- Able to work alone and team player.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Good liaison with all other departments.
