Jama HR Express is proud to support this client in hiring a Customer Account Manager for their Engines Division in Delta, BC.

We are hiring a Customer Account Manager responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring contract compliance, supporting operational execution, and delivering clear, structured communication throughout the engine maintenance and repair process.

This role blends commercial judgment and technical coordination. The successful candidate will act as the primary customer point of contact, collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams, monitor financial performance, and support customers through complex decisions with confidence and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers throughout the engine maintenance and repair lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with customer contract requirements, including warranty-related obligations
  • Oversee invoice accuracy and ensure costs align with contractual and customer expectations
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate cost impacts during engine repair and shop visits to support profitability
  • Communicate customer requirements clearly and concisely to internal teams
  • Provide timely updates on engine status, turnaround times, and financial impacts
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent, professional communication
  • Exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions in fast-moving operational situations
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Support customer removal forecasts and contribute to internal and departmental reporting
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in a customer-facing or account management role
  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or an MRO environment is preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and evaluate cost impacts
  • Experience supporting customer contracts or contract compliance is an asset
  • Strong communicator with clear, concise, and structured verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making independent decisions and exercising sound judgment
  • Quick on their feet, with strong problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Self-sufficient and ownership-driven, requiring minimal oversight
  • Customer-focused, with strong relationship management and service orientation
  • Interest in aviation and willingness to learn engine platforms (e.g., CF6-80, V2500)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support customer needs
  • Comfortable working primarily on-site in Delta, BC, with limited remote flexibility
