What to Expect:
As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will lead the development and execution of organic social media programs and influencer initiatives across our diverse portfolio of brands. You'll be our social ambassador, creating and delivering engaging content that builds brand love and sparks consumer engagement opportunities, both in English and French. You'll collaborate closely with brand marketing, cross-functional collaborators, as well as media, creative, and PR agencies to ensure content is impactful, on-brand, and aligned with over arching objectives and campaign tactics. A day in the life:
- Conceptualize, develop, complete, and monitor social media strategies, campaigns, and calendars that drive storytelling, engagement, and growth across Nestlé's portfolio.
- Contribute creativity and fresh thinking to bring big ideas to life across channels.
- Serve as the lead content creator and social voice for our brands by developing organic campaigns that add real value.
- Build and implement influencer marketing approaches that align with brand objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Provide regular reporting on content and engagement effectiveness, with recommendations for optimizations and new opportunities.
- Champion the social consumer, providing recommendations and thought leadership to the wider business.
Managing Brand's organic social accounts
- Act as the Social Media Lead for assigned brands, managing strategy, content creation, and daily operations for organic social media programs.
- Integrate with brand marketing teams to deeply understand overall brand strategy, business objectives, and consumer segments and contribute to the communications planning process by developing on-brand content strategies that support campaign tactics.
- Develop and oversee strategic roadmaps, content calendars, tentpole campaign action plans, and trend-based content rooted in brand objectives.
- Advise brand marketing leads on content strategy, proactively finding opportunities to optimize or evolve our work.
- Monitor cultural and platform trends to insert brands meaningfully into real-time conversations and moments.
- Collaborate with Nestlé Global teams in brand marketing and social media to understand Nestlé procedures and use approved tools.
- Lead community management by engaging with consumers and fans, collaborating with our internal Consumer Engagement Team and collaborators to delight current followers and attract new ones.
- Attend brand events and experiential activations to capture live content and influencer interactions.
- Review and analyze social performance metrics, applying insights to future workstreams and content recommendations.
Managing Influencer relationships & campaigns
- Skilled in negotiating and managing influencer partnerships, including contracts, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ability to evaluate influencer content for brand fit, authenticity, and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key influencers and brand advocates, identifying partnership opportunities that correspond with brand goals.
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of influencer campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with broader social strategies and maximizing campaign impact.
- Strong understanding of influencer marketing trends, best practices, and relevant platforms.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a creative field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in digital marketing dedicated to social platforms, within an agency or multi-brand environment.
- Proven track record to meet deadlines, run multiple brand workstreams, balancing always-on calendars, campaign planning, and reactive content opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of organic social media platforms, effective methods, and content development; familiarity with paid social and amplification/boosting.
- Experience managing influencer campaigns, from coordination through execution and reporting.
- Understanding of social KPIs and ability to interpret performance data to guide optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience turning insights into strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editing ability.
- Strong eye for consistency in brand voice and ensuring all content is legally compliant.
- Creative and design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) considered a huge asset.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, or other Social Media Management Tools.
- Experience with recipe development/design and food styling considered an asset.
