Director of ETFs

As our newest Director of ETFs & Alternatives, you will be a significant contributor in the development and execution of Manulife's ETF and Alt Strategy in Quebec City and its surrounding regions You will have the opportunity to drive all ETF and Alt-related sales activities in a specific region, collaborating with our national wholesaling teams and identifying rare investment opportunities for our strongest advisors.
Position Responsibilities:
- Drive sales with our existing advisor partnerships and uncover new opportunities with prospects in your region.
- Partner with our top-performing wholesaling teams across the country to ensure alignment around Manulife's investment business growth strategy.
- Craft and implement a regional ETF and Alternatives strategy.
- Collaborate with key partners within the business to implement your strategy.
- Provide monthly updates on the progress to management and senior leadership, advocating for your ETF/ Alt strategy when there are market opportunities and act as your region's champion when we make key wins.
- See opportunities to develop and implement sales strategies that will improve our market penetration and increase our customers' dedication to Manulife products.
- Participate in scheduled office visits, seminars, conference calls and other meetings, providing your expertise in both the ETF/ Alt product offering and in the investment space more widely.
- Educate a wide range of retail clients (each with varying degrees of ETF/ Alt knowledge) on our ETF/Alt products and related capital markets information.
- Deliver timely communications (in whatever form is best based on the situation and the audience) around fund features and performance to current and prospective clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Your deep understanding of ETFs and Alternatives, capital markets, and portfolio construction/asset allocation.
- 5 or more years of investment-related sales experience, combined with more recent subject matter expertise in ETFs/Alternatives.
- Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
