Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to support our production operations and ensure maximum uptime of our five film-blowing machines. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on film-blowing machines and related packaging equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Install, align, rebuild, and overhaul machinery and components as needed
  • Diagnose issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and secure working environment
  • Support production teams by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring issues

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Industrial Millwright or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of film-blowing or plastics manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with industrial troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics & rotating equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for shift work and overtime as required
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Assets:

  • Experience in packaging/film manufacturing environment
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance reporting systems
