About the Role:

We are seeking a Tier 2 Onsite Technician to provide advanced technical support and maintenance for our internal systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex IT issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of desktops/laptops, mobile devices, printers, networking equipment, and phones.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level support for escalated technical issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently.
  • Configure and maintain network devices and remote access solutions.
  • Perform system upgrades and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Tier 1 technicians and mentor junior team members.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong Windows 11 support experience within a business environment.
  • Beginner knowledge of Windows Server (2019 and up), including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
  • Proficient support experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with RMM tools and ticketing systems.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (G2 or greater) and reliable vehicle.
