Pharmacy Assistant/Technician

For our other position, we seek a candidate with at least 2 years of experience as assistant or technician. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medication administration, medical terminology, and patient care, along with experience working with Kroll systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
  • Support medication administration by preparing prescriptions and managing refills.
  • Organize and maintain the pharmacy workspace to ensure a clean and efficient environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to enhance patient care and medication management.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is required.
  • Proficiency with Kroll systems is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key for success in this role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
