Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
