Job description

We are looking for a part-time Digital Marketing Specialist with a deep knowledge of SEO best-practices. Experience in developing content strategies, content maps, content audits, and the creating of content are all key requirements.

The role will be focused on developing and executing strategy around creating new content and refreshing (or removing) old content to perform better on google.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in updating and creating engaging and grammatically correct content, with English as their native language.
  • Expertise of SEO best practices and understanding using digital marketing to grow an organic audience. This includes developing a content plan as well as a content map.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Experience in newsletter marketing, and remarketing drips would be a benefit.
  • Experience of adventure travel, ideally you have travelled extensively and regularly hike, cycle, ski etc.
  • Comfortable working as part of a remote team spread across Canada.
  • Self-starter who can motivate themselves to meet their commitments.
  • Comfortable researching and creating content for topics they don't have first-hand experience.
