Position Summary:

We are seeking a SEO Copywriter who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the website content strategy to ensure alignment with organizational goals, client requirements, and user needs. This role involves creating compelling, audience-focused content that enhances brand presence, engages customers, and drives measurable business results.

The SEO Copywriter will be responsible for creating world-class SEO-rich content for all our active clients who regularly receive SEO content included with their monthly SEO campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to create persuasive SEO-friendly copy, and a proven understanding of text layout.

They will also review, track, and be accountable for the quality & consistency of their copywriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality copy for active SEO clients monthly, while also fulfilling ad-hoc copy requests from any client as needed.
  • The SEO Copywriter will regularly draft Custom Content SEO strategies, content calendars, pages, add-on SEO content for existing website pages, SEO rewrites on the content of existing pages, SEO-rich blog articles, resource pages, and SEO press releases, among others.
  • Responsible for creating professional, accurate, persuasive, marketing-driven, SEO-friendly, and error-free copy from customer-provided information and industry knowledge.
  • Must be comfortable speaking with SEO specialists and consultants in regular meetings when more copy guidance or feedback is needed or work with clients directly on larger content-based orders & projects.
  • Work directly with SEO specialists and Consultants to develop the Content within SEO best practices while keeping our client's standards, guidelines, and feedback in mind.
  • The SEO Copywriter is also expected to participate in team meetings to provide recommendations and feedback on improvements to the process, fulfillment, and SEO product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Copywriting.
  • 2+ years of experience working with SEO or SEO Copywriting.
  • 2+ years of experience using SEO tools such as Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
  • 2+ years of experience with content creation tools such as Grammarly, Answer The Public or Ask The Web.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, & PowerPoint. 
  • Very detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.   
  • Excellent communication skills and strong creative skills.   
  • Dedicated to quality, extremely organized, and very team oriented.   
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once.
