Position Details

Type: Full-time, In-person

Role: Executive Assistant + Social Media Coordinator

Location: Greater Victoria

Reports To: General Manager / Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities - Executive Assistant Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to leadership
  • Manage calendars, appointments, travel, and daily schedules
  • Organize, prioritize, and follow up on tasks and deadlines
  • Prepare reports, meeting agendas, and internal communications
  • Assist with project management and coordinate cross-department activities
  • Maintain confidential documents and records
  • Help streamline workflows and improve internal efficiency
  • Handle email correspondence and communication on behalf of leadership when needed

Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities

  • Manage all company social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok optional)
  • Create engaging content that highlights our brand, our team, and our work
  • Stay current on home-services trends to produce educational and promotional posts
  • Capture behind-the-scenes photos/videos from job sites and company events
  • Schedule and publish posts consistently across platforms
  • Engage with our community—respond to comments, messages, and mentions
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop monthly content calendars
  • Track performance analytics and adjust strategies as needed
  • Support paid campaigns with asset creation (graphics, short videos, captions)

What We're Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years in an EA, administrative, or coordination role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Experience creating content on social media (personal or business)
  • High proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • A self-starter mindset—comfortable managing tasks independently

Preferred Assets

  • Experience with social media management tools (Later, Buffer, etc.)
  • Basic design/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or branding
  • Understanding of home services or trades industry
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan is a bonus (but not required)
