Summary
This position is responsible for the managing, storing, reporting, and processing of data/KPI's for the transportation department. Will use JDA, EMDECS, Microsoft Office, among other programs to generate reports and support the department with other requests as required.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Generate, Monitor and Measure scorecards to track transportation KPIs, identifying trends, variances and gaps in the data.
  • Develop better reporting tools to improve information flow and organizational planning.
  • Track and monitor transportation department projects to ensure timelines are maintained.
  • Use TMS, EMDECS and other software to validate accuracy of reports
  • Identify logistics and reverse logistics issues; provide immediate fixes and develop long-term solutions to optimize operations.
  • Solicit feedback from key stakeholders to determine their requirements
  • Audit, Monitor and analyse carrier accessorial charges.
  • Coordinate and follow up on business partners' documentation, ensuring that business units receive required reports in a timely manner.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations to modify existing or proposed scorecards to improve accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study
  • 2-3 years of experience in a logistics role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills including Power Query, VBA, PivotTables, and data visualization.

  • Experience with TMS (JDA) and SAP software
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to speak French considered an asset
