Hi Everyone, currently we are hiring for the below open role:

Job Title:
Director of Accounting (for the bookkeeping firm)
/ (Canadian/US Accounting)

Location:
Langley, BC (Canada)

Job Type:
Full-time

Role Purpose:
The Director of Accounting will scale and lead the client-facing financial operations team to 3x capacity, while owning customer experience, team performance, and tech process improvements. This role will evolve into the COO position after successfully achieving the 3x scaling goal by December 31, 2026 (with a maximum 6-month leverage).

Must have (skills, requirement and knowledge):

· Comfortable to be onsite at the work location (Langley, BC)

· Worked in Public Practise for minimum 5+ years - preferably for Fractional CFO/Controller or at least in accounting/bookkeeping/tax/consultancy.

· Must have managed 9+ Canadian/USA team members in Public Practise ecosystem.

· CRA Rep Account already set up.

· Must be in Canada for the past 5 years.

· CPA/CFA/MBA/Post-Graduate

· Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, where you hack everything and always look for creative ways to get the job done.

· Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Highly Preferred (Skills and Knowledge):

· years of accounting experience and previous team management experience.

· Anyone who have tried own bookkeeping or CFO firm in the past.

· CPA certification would be a great asset.
