Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Japanese Chef based in Ottawa, ON. The Japanese Chef will be responsible for preparing authentic Japanese dishes, including sushi and sashimi, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Daily tasks include ingredient preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, monitoring inventory, and following food safety regulations. Additionally, the chef will collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and maintain consistency in food preparation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Japanese culinary techniques, including sushi-making, sashimi preparation, and knife skills.
