Bel-Air Toyota is looking for a PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 8pm AND Saturdays from 9am to 5pm

Position overview:

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Part-Time Sales Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors at our dealership and to assist with the overflow of the service department appointments. This role is key to creating a positive, professional atmosphere while supporting the sales team with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong communication and multitasking skills to the table.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers entering the sales department, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate staff or resource.
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments within the dealership.
  • Monitor and respond to live chat inquiries through DriveCentric, ensuring quick, friendly, and informative responses to potential customers.
  • Keep the front desk and reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times, including occasional light cleaning.
  • Ensure coffee bar, waiting area and showroom are kept clean at all times.
  • Ensure coffee bar is fully stocked with supplies such as, coffee beans, powders, tea, cups, milk, ect…
  • Assist with booking service appointments and ensure they are booked correctly.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management, including general clerical duties, data entry, filing, and assisting with special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English is required.
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and conducts themselves with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable with roles that require extended periods of sitting.
