We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including freight documentation and delivery logs.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the dump truck as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class 1) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety standards.
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
