About us

Vigilant Security Services Inc. is a relatively young Security Agency, owned and operated from Kitchener with a branch office in Toronto. We bootstrapped and built Vigilant Security from the ground up based on the extensive experience of our founders, taking our passion for keeping people genuinely safe and building an organization which would genuinely do so.

The respect earned for our training programs has been more than apparent as many hospital clinical staff, physicians, in-house security programs and even other contract security agencies routinely become our clients, having us deliver training through our brick-and-mortar tactical store and training centre located in Kitchener, Vigilant Tactical Solutions.

Working as a Tier 2 Hospital Security Guard;

  • Patrol for the purpose of protecting patients, staff, visitors, and physicians.
  • Respond to emergency calls for service, including violent person, missing person, cardiac arrest, fire, flood, hazardous spill, evacuation, active killer, bomb threat, etc.
  • Work closely with Police, EMS, Fire, and other agencies.
  • Create and promote a safe environment for patient care.
  • Enforce regulations as well as the Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada with verbal warnings, written warnings, and/or arrests as required.
  • Must possess the ability to complete 4 days of intensive use of force training, to be issued handcuffs, tactical baton.
