About your future job

We are seeking a dynamic & knowledgeable Employer Executive to work within the JENZA Placement team, who are focused on our work abroad and internship product range. The role will involve managing and growing our employer networks globally who are looking to recruit international seasonal workers and interns in their business. Success in this role will be measured on employers listing opportunities on our customer-facing Job Hub and Intern Hub platforms, in line with our placement product growth goals.

This particular role will have a core focus developing and expanding our US and Canadian employer networks and therefore, the successful candidate will be required to work across North America time zone.

What you'll do

  • Provide daily account management support to our existing employer networks
  • Develop new employer relationships to deliver on our job product fulfilment strategy
  • Research target employer contacts, using various outreach methods
  • Work collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure customer and employer recruitment journey is efficient and provides a positive customer experience
  • Assist in development and implementation of employer onboarding process improvements
  • Liaise with sponsor compliance team to ensure placements meet set visa requirements
  • Collaborate with our sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure they have appropriate employer and job updates
  • Work closely with the Placement and Hiring Events Manager throughout the customer placement process
  • Ability to work independently with remote supervision and direction
  • General administration and program support
  • Attend meetings and report on department activity when required
  • Occasional travel within the US and Canada for employer meetings and site visits

Core Accountabilities

Employer outreach and development

  • Intro calls to prospective employers promoting the benefits of J1 Bridge USA and Canada IEC programs and hiring seasonal workers
  • Provide employer support to move them on to onboarded status
  • Meet defined targets of available number of open positions in JENZA Job Hub

Existing employer account management

  • Own a book of employer accounts throughout the year and guide them through the job placement cycle
  • Including: Season kick-off updates, re-activating positions, position management, end of season wrap up and review
  • Collect employer feedback throughout the year to establish changes to hiring trends and communicate these to the wider team
  • Grow number of employers we work with that exclusively hire through JENZA in our core markets

IT and Systems

  • Be the main point of contact for employer system and process queries
  • Work with IT team to develop and implement system and process improvements to best serve host employers

Sponsor compliance

  • Ensure all required sponsor documentation is collected from employers to ensure sponsor vetting and compliance is complete in a timely manner

Intern Hub

  • Maintain and develop network of employers listing internship opportunities on the Intern Hub platform

What we imagine you'll have....

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively with all teams and change direction as needed
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience with sales outreach with success in converting leads to onboarded status preferred
  • Superb organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to dynamically present in person and virtually
  • Ability to work creatively and innovatively
  • High level of initiative and enthusiasm and personal belief in the transformative power of international exchange experiences
  • Self-motivated and able to think outside the box
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Hands on / can do approach
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, prior experience with a CRM system is a plus

  • Experience in a student or university-facing environment
