Role: Energy Management Consultant (Inside Water Heater Sales)

Status: Regular, Full-time  

Department: Sales  

Division: Enercare Commercial Services  

Location: Hybrid - High Meadow  

This role is responsible for assessing, sizing, pricing, and presenting commercial water heating solutions, while managing inbound leads and generating new opportunities. The position also includes creating leads for the outside sales team by upselling Enercare's HVAC products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B technical sales, with strong knowledge of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage inbound commercial water heater leads to size, scope and assess the technical and physical replacement requirements
  • Utilize inbound/outbound commercial water heater leads to upsell HVAC products and service and pass leads to outside sales team.
  • Prepare pricing, proposals, contracts and assist with project coordination and customer communication where required.
  • Maintain a CRM database for accounts and opportunities, as well as the collection of customer information and general market intelligence. 
  • Remotely inspect, scope and assess current water heating equipment and present Enercare's recommendation relating to replacement or maintenance to customer.
  • Assist management to identify new market segments, prospects, lead sources, and referral opportunities.
  • Manage and foster relationships with key players in the commercial / property management new construction, retrofit HVAC market.

Qualifications:

  • B2B technical sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must be entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker.
  • Must be able to articulate strategies and results with successfully developing new business.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office and Salesforce
  • Previous Water Heater sales experience would be considered an asset.
  • Bachelors degree or post-secondary diploma would be considered an asset.
