Kenora Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette is growing — and we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to become a key part of our team.
This role is essential to keeping our dealership running smoothly by supporting multiple departments, assisting customers, and helping maintain an organized and professional environment. If you're proactive, adaptable, and love being at the heart of a busy workplace — this opportunity is for you.
What You'll Do
- Be the friendly first point of contact for customers and visitors — in person, by phone, and by email.
- Handle incoming correspondence and route messages efficiently.
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper).
- Prepare, edit, and format documents and reports.
- Manage office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Process customer payments and ensure the reception and coffee bar areas are always welcoming.
- Enter and balance daily dealership transactions.
- Stock in new vehicles and create accurate vehicle files.
- Manage accounts receivable — including invoicing, emailing customers, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Support various departments with general administrative tasks as needed.
What You Bring
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication — both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A professional, customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliability, discretion, and a proactive "can-do" mindset.
- Willingness to learn our dealership software systems.
- Previous administrative or reception experience is an asset, but not required — we'll provide training
