Responsibilities

  • Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
  • Manage time effectively to complete cleaning duties within scheduled hours.
  • Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning needs and supply inventory.
  • Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and staff.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
