Location

Purpose of the Position

Join SPG's Vehicle Operation Team at the St-Luc Compound and play a vital role in the seamless movement of finished vehicles between the CPKC railhead and the GCI compound. Drivers ensure that every vehicle is handled with precision, care, and full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive finished vehicles from the railhead unloading zone to assigned storage or processing areas within the compound.
  • Support repositioning tasks as directed to align with daily load line/DPU operations.
  • Follow supervisor instructions and work cards accurately, ensuring traceability through driver ID records.
  • Conduct visual checks for damages or abnormalities during vehicle movement and report findings to the inspection team.
  • Responsible for scanning VIN barcodes to perform receiving and picking tasks accurately.
  • Maintain awareness of yard traffic flow, designated driving lanes, and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Capable of handling repetitive tasks with focus and attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work shifts or weekends based on compound operation schedules.
  • French-speaking candidates will be given an advantage.
