Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and restaurant operations, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Manage inventory and ordering, minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food preparation to ensure consistent quality and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Indian kitchen, specifically in Tandoor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices.
  • Creativity in menu development and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.39-$31.39 per hour
