Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented Server to join our team at our Taj Mahal Heritage. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and an understanding of Indian cuisine and culture. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming dining experience, ensuring guests receive excellent service from start to finish.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide an exceptional dining experience.
  • Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and Indian dishes to assist guests effectively.
  • Process bills, handle payments, and ensure order accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations.
  • Adhere to restaurant policies, hygiene standards, and customer service guidelines.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Server or Food & Beverage Attendant (experience in Indian or ethnic restaurants preferred year of experience
  • Strong knowledge or interest in Indian cuisine and beverages.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Restaurant Service is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.70-$27.20 per year
