We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Administrator to manage financial reporting, streamline operations, and support day-to-day business administration. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks Online, understands multi-entity real estate structures, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting

  • Provide administrative support to the finance department, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online across multiple corporations
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
  • Generate P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Budget vs. Actual reports
  • Prepare financial summaries and assist with forecasting and planning
  • Track rent income, property expenses, loan payments, and tax obligations
  • Support year-end file prep for accountants and government filings

Administrative & Property Support

  • Coordinate with property managers to track and collect rent
  • Generate monthly rent collection reports and follow up on arrears
  • Review and reconcile property manager operating statements and expense reports
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance
  • Onboard new clients/residents into systems
  • Manage files for leases, contracts, invoices, utilities, and insurance

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency (reporting, reconciliation, payroll integration)
  • Understanding of real estate financials (rent rolls, NOI, property-level expenses)
  • Experience working with multiple entities/corporations
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
