Job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for arranging all inbound and outbound freight, getting quotes, and managing multi-truck shipments that often involve cranes, rigging, or dismantling work.

This role also handles customs documentation, tariff calculations, and coordination with contractors to ensure equipment moves safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtain freight quotes for the sales team in a timely manner
  • Arrange and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Plan, schedule, and execute multi-truck loads, including cranes, rigging, and specialized equipment
  • Prepare and manage customs documentation and calculate applicable tariffs for cross-border shipments
  • Act as project lead on complex moves involving multiple contractors or dismantling crews
  • Communicate with sales, procurement, yard teams, and customers to ensure smooth logistics execution
  • Manage freight budgets, negotiate rates, and help maximize profitability on each project

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, freight coordination, or transportation
  • 2+ years of customs documentation experience
  • Strong understanding of shipping, trucking, and rigging operations
  • Experience arranging multi-truck loads, cranes, or specialized equipment
  • Familiarity with customs documentation and tariffs for cross-border shipments
  • Solid communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Excel, email, and basic logistics software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
