Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of clinical experience and be trained in all modalities- Being a Registered Kinesiologist or holding a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology is a strong asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and exercise programs
  • Operate and monitor therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, IFC, laser, shockwave, etc.)
  • Educate and guide patients on home exercises and rehabilitation techniques
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe treatment areas
  • Document and track patient progress accurately
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant program
  • Proficient with all therapeutic modalities
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused
  • Being a Registered Kinesiologist or holding a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology is a strong asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
