Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions and food preparation. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their dining experience.
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards, ensuring high-quality presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions with precision while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Monitor food safety practices during preparation and service to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining individual responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices relevant to food service operations is a plus.
