Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math for accurate billing.
  • Assist with serving food and beverages to guests promptly.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and communication.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
  • Ability to handle food safely and adhere to food handling guidelines.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
