Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of products. This position involves various tasks including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to load and unload products safely.
  • Perform order picking and packaging to prepare items for shipment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment processes.
  • Conduct shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and properly documented.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving procedures is essential.
  • Experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy in order fulfillment.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $17.85-$23.21 per hour
